Australia cricket team has been in muddle since the time sandpaper gate broke out. The team's core foundation, Steve Smith and David Warner were found guilty of doing the nefarious act which led to their sacking from the captaincy and vice-captaincy eventually of them being banned from international cricket for a year.
The 'ball-tampering' act unfolded on the third day of the third Test against South Africa in Cape Town, as the young opening batsman Cameron Bancroft was caught on camera roughing up the ball using 'yellow-tape' trying to alter the conditions. The eight-Test-match old Bancroft admitted his wrongdoing as Smith also admitted to being aware of the situation and being part of the act with "leadership group", which constituted David Warner.
