Sarah Taylor emerged as one of the exciting prospects of the tournament as she grabbed eyeballs with her stellar streak of 396 runs in 9 innings of the championship though she has always been a popular cricketer. In a recent hilarious turn of events, a post had been doing the rounds on social media that made it look as though Taylor is a mother of two young children. The 28-year-old cricketer shared the same photo on her Instagram account and laughed it off, saying that the two kids in the picture were, in fact, her nephew and niece. Notably, the England wicketkeeper-batter fought an anxiety disorder to participate and perform in the World Cup.

The caption of the picture read, “We can digest the defeat but hot to digest the fact that she is mother of 2 children?” Taylor re-posted it via Instagram and rubbished the content with a caption that read, “Safe to say I don’t have 2 children…but do have a niece and nephew!!”
